Back again!

I've been doing some "cleaning" lately- technological cleaning, not real cleaning... As I was working my way through the 100+ bookmarked websites on my personal laptop I came across my long lost blog.  I was actually pleasantly surprised when I found it had only been a year since my last post... I was thinking it had been WAY longer than that.  I have no good excuses, other than having an iPhone has taken the place of my computer for all the important things in life... Facebook, Twitter, email, pictures, etc.  However, blogging on my phone doesn't work out too well. Since I do love talking about my kids (and talking in general) and since Facebook and Twitter don't lend themselves to too much story telling, I figured I'd hop back on my Blog train. :) 
Our latest life update was the great check up Olivia had about a month ago.  We went in for routine (for her) x-rays to make sure that her hips were still growing normally.  We were not expecting bad news, but it was still nice to have that reassurance!  It's hard to believe how far she has come since, literally, Day 1.

The next newest adventure was Grayson's birthday weekend!  Of course, Luke thought I went a little far with ALL of the celebrations, but birthdays are SPECIAL!!!  We started out with Chick-Fil-A and a trip to the play place at the mall on Friday night.  Then on to the Omaha Zoo on Saturday with my mom and dad, brother and his wife and kids and my Grandma Broghammer.  It was fun, and stressful, but fun, all at the same time.  Sunday we actually had the "party" and Monday was his birth DAY with a trip to Texas Roadhouse.  I'm actually a little worried about what he thinks will happen next year, it will be hard to top all that!  Oh well, it will be on a Tuesday so, according to the rules we won't be celebrating all weekend long. :)
And in true technology fashion, Google + is not downloading my photos from my phone.  I'm trying to post all the pics from Grayson's birthday, but for some reason there are about 50 photos that refuse to be Auto Backed UP!!  GRRR.  And thus, this update is finished!
